Smart or Stupid?!

monday started out fine, attended my 1st class 4 dis sem..but then ltr it made me turn in2 a red monster of anger & hatred..it's all bcoz of dis 'accredited course (LAN)' thngy 4 my bachelor of civil engineering course, my college doesn't hv it yet so it's real important 4 them..a few ppl from dat LAN will interview a bunch of us..well, my college picked me 2 b 1 of the interviewees..we were picked according 2 our academic level; top, medium, low, then put in2 a group, so there's 3 students in a group..it was ok, i mean there's nothng 2 it until they gave out the list..it blew me!!! bside our name was our level & cgpa result!!! the LEVEL STATUS was a humiliation..i was labeled LOW!!! i almost yelled at the lecturer, who's also the head of engineering school..the list was given 2 all students in the bachelor course..my cgpa is 2.724, & dat's considered LOW???!!! so wat r they calling the students whose cgpa is below mine, like 2.500 or lower? is it 'STUPID' or 'DUMB'?

wat hurt the most was being compared openly, being judged on a piece of paper! if they wanna judge me 4 my character or attitude, i'm capable of handling dat, but 2 insult my intelligence?? who the F*CK r they? so juz bcoz they're my lecturers they consider themselves smart-ass? hey come on, their IQ could b par wit mine, or a little higher but not high enuff 2 b a member of 'MENSA'..duhhh! i go 2 college 2 gain more knowledge & 2 get a degree..they as lecturers should b more smarter in the 'feeling' department! i mean, u don't juz teach students about theories & calculations but also respect! students r not robots, don't know everythng..the whole point of going 2 school is 2 learn, not 2 b labeled as 'smart' or 'stupid'..

they had no right 2 make dat kind of list..if it juz had our name & cgpa would b fine 4 me..but putting an academic status was TOTALLY WRONG! in all ways & sense..it ripped my self-esteem & confidence, smeared my pride & dignity!!!..all of a sudden i felt ashamed of my brain capabilities..i'm not the only 1..there's 1 group 4 every batch (1st yr, 2nd yr, 3rd yr, 4th yr & recent grads)..so the other students wit the low status would b feeling the same as me..i'm still telling myself dat i'm not stupid or dumb..all i wanna do 2morow is give a nice hard angry yell-out 2 the lecturers who r responsible 4 deciding, making, typing & printing plus approving dat formatted list..

seriously, i'm going 2 express my anger!! coz i cant keep it in me anymore..telling my sis, ctea & other friends is not enuff..& i know damn well i hv dat right 2 voice my displeasure! i want them 2 know how it feels & how it had effected MY PRIDE & DIGNITY!!! if only they were in my shoes but i'm gonna make them imagine dat..i may b hard-headed but i'm not witout a heart..

i'm not gonna go 4 dat interview..if they force me then i'll juz tell the interviewers bad thngs about my college, saying dat lecturers aren't gud enuff, not enuff facilities, etc..who the hell will want 2 say gud thngs wen u're hurt, angry & was put down the way i was?! if they wanted me or any other students 2 do the interview, juz ask don't categorize us by our academic abilities & publicly state it in 'black & white', i surely would've been glad 2 do it, 2 make sure my course & college will b recognized by the government & private sectors in the civil engineering field..BUT 2 hell i'm gonna go thru it! btw, KLIUC is the college i'm attending now! (formerly known as IKRAM COLLEGE)

there must b sumthng dat made me choose thailand as my destination, again! ;0

it was a 4d/3n vacation..went on a tour wit my mum & a bunch of her friends..but it wasn't juz all elderly ppl, there were a few 'young adults' tagging along, including me :)
since i've already been 2 bangkok & pattaya last year, i was really excited..a more eastern culture & heritage, rather than the usual western culture (lovely memories, wish i could relive dat part of my life)..but i'm not complaining abt asia vacation, it's part of my dream 2 conquer the world, hahaha being dramatic..wen u love 2 travel, u juz wanna go everywhere!!! & all u have wen u reach home is the precious MEMORIES & experience..

the vacation 2 chiang mai was more relaxing than bangkok & pattaya..it's juz like going 2 cameron highlands but more of the culture bit all around..i think i went 2 a few temples, it was fascinating coz it's not juz a plain temple, it was covered in all those unique carvings, wit gold linings..there was even a gold temple!! serious! i mean if u're the type 2 b interested & awed by the arts of history then u'll enjoy it..anyway, the buddha statue is also in gold, all sizes..at 1 of the temples there was a gold turtle, gold chime bell, gold dragon..even a gigantic gold statue of buddha by the river of the 'golden triangle' at chiang rai (a place dat is abt 3-4hrs drive from chiang mai)..i 4got 2 ask my tour guide if it's real gold, i kept wondering wen sum1 or any1 would dare 2 steal the statue or at least cut a part of it..man, i would b 1 happy rich lady by selling it, hahaha! yeah right, like i'm so brave & dat desperate! duhhh ;p

the best part of the tour was the visit 2 the famous 'golden triangle'..the connection btween thailand, burma & laos by a river..it was like country hopping! i got the chance 2 set foot on laos but not burma :( once in laos, there was a flea market, selling shawls, clothes/accessories, local souvenir, but the main attraction 4 me was the snake & scorpion medicine..it's real, trust me! they were sold in bottles, according 2 the seller, it helps 2 improve ur inner strength or 'upgrade' ur sex life (4 men) hahahaha! ;p mayb i should have bought a few bottles 4 my guy friends, at least dat'll keep their partner happy in bed, hahahaha ;)

chiang mai is also known 4 having an 'elephant school'..a school where they train elephants 2 obey human commands, teach them 2 play soccer/dart/basketball, paint a picture (using their trunks), dance & wiggle their bumbums! hehehe..cute, chubby ass, loud, quite smart, smelly creature :) but u gotta give them credit tho, i mean they can really entertain us human beings..plus i was amazed they can paint, the complete setup of dipping the brush & the perfect stroke of artistic ability! i can bet sum of us human cant draw a simple nice pic dat u would immediately recognize wat it is, huhu congrats elephant! the talented elephants working in bangkok had 2 graduate from school 1st..i think they get a diploma or certificate ;p haha how cute can dat b..if i was a proud owner i would frame dat piece of paper!

hmm, the next visit was 2 the 'long neck' community..way in the jungle..had 2 hike thru the bushes, up & down small hills..i was out of breath & sweating wen i reached their little village..was greeted by these village ppl wit a traditional dance..i was fascinated by the young & old women wearing these large heavy gold steel rings around their neck & ankles..their neck is really long & shaped according 2 the size of rings they wore..1 of the young girl was famous wit tourist, it turns out she was once featured in 'national geographic'..the upsetting part was my dearest mum 4got 2 recharge the batteries for her camera, so no pics of dat, but i manage 2 capture a few wit my pda phone, which isn't dat beautiful, plus i haven't transfer it 2 my laptop..but once i do, i'll upload it wit the other pics..& no i didn't bring my own camera..hehehe lazy me & serves me right 4 not being a back-up camera girl..hehehe! ;p

other than these culture visits, i went 4 a cruise in 1 of the shopping malls..not bad, i was tempted 2 go in2 all the shops, but luckily my mum was holding a rein on me, hehe..still, i managed 2 buy a few thngs,huhu ;) the nite market was also a blast, a long stretch of stalls, i mean u can bargain the price & they have a variety of stuff u juz know u gotta get..along the stalls, they have shophouses as well..wit starbucks! my fav place, can't live a day witout coffee..yes, i'm a coffee addict! ;p give me my dose of caffeine & i'm all smiley & happy & hyper..mmm, yumyum, yeahyeah :)

hmmm...also went 2 an umbrella factory, they make umbrellas out of tree trunks..went 2 the jewel factory outlet, there was a display of a big ring, as big as my arm! it was named ' the princess ring'..u gotta c it..wit all the diamonds & other gems/stones in gold setting..i juz wanted 2 snatch it & wear it as a bangle, hehe..the jewel outlet was heaven 4 sore eyes, all those bling-bling made me drool, seriously i wish it was all mine..u name it, they have the gems, in gold/silver/whitegold setting..ok, enuff of dat..i think my last pit-stop was the orchid & butterfly garden/farm, lovely! wen i walked in, i felt so calm & relax..it was like being a happy butterfly, attracted 2 the beautiful orchids, variety of colors, all healthy ;) well, once i get a house wit a garden, i'll make sure i have an orchid corner, hehehe..i didn't even check-out the butterflies, they didn't seem alluring as the orchids..

overall, i had a great time, coz wen i decided 2 join my mum, i only wanted 2 relax my mind, nothing too hectic (like the bangkok & pattaya vacation)..wanted 2 get away from the bz hectic life in the city..& i got it :)

Crazy Long Day ;)

ystrday was 1 of those days whr i go out 2 chill wit sum close friends dat i end up home in the wee hrs..well i dont go out everyday but if i do i'll make the most of it ;p ..but it was a bit different tho, i mean i had 2 settle my insurance policy then go chat abt future business ventures wit berd (hahaha, seriously i did, believe it or not & i couldnt help trying 2 snatch up a possible better offer) which i hope i can benefit a lot in the long run..waaah, sounds a bit weird eh?

emi & i met at mc.D mont kiara 4 our girl's day out afta meeting kak eliz (all is well in the insurance departmnt)..too bad ctea was stuck in class the whole day, would've been a triple more fun, the more the merrier but it also depends on who, hahaha, but emi & ctea r the best..anyway, it was a flea market day at mont kiara, i didnt even cruise arnd 2 shop or check wat they had coz i knew my shopping retail therapy spree was over, i had already done it a few days ago wit ctea, wit the bills i had paid, so sad :( did all my best 2 resist dat temptatn..'duhhh!' coz in the end fino & berd joined us, i think berd was curious 2 know wat we girl's talked abt & wanted 2 improve his gossiping skill, hahaha! fino gave sum really new cool dumb funny riddles..he's still introducing me 2 sum new 'public mutual' investmnts, i'm still waiting 2 c if my early investmnts prosper wonderfully..it's been a month so i hv 2 wait till 6mths..i'm praying dat my $$$ will make zillion babies,hahaha ;p

but the funniest thng happened wen we sent berd home afta a few rounds of pool game at subang..emi's backseat had a 'tigger' stuffed toy (winnie the pooh's friend,huhuhu)..i sat in front while emi drove & berd sat in the back, entertaining us wit tigger while squashing himself btween the front seats..he was so in2 it dat wen emi cornered a bit too sharp & fast, berd flew 2 the side of the car, head hit window, legs up in the air & he was hugging little tigger tightly 2 his chest!!! hahahahahaha his expression was shocked & speechless, it was priceless! ;) seriously it was so hilarious, i wish i had recorded the whole event on video, it would b perfect 2 blackmail him wit it but dont hv it..sorry dude, juz had 2 tell it ;p

my mum wants me 2 go back home 4 the weekend till wednesday 2 settle sum thngs..she suggested 2day, but i couldnt coz i slept most of the sunny day away :) plus i'm very tired afta my "more than 12hrs" hanging out! & i hvnt even bought a flight ticket! so i think i'll book a ticket 4 2morow aftanoon or evening..kinda miss my mum, her cooking & my old bed & cuddly new/old 'bucuk' pillow ;p (gotta bring it back 2 KL no matter wat! hehe), bsides i havent been back since nov'06..a whole year..hmmm, but my little sis cna is the champion tho (almost 2yrs) ~cna dear plz b prepared wen i crash ur place mid next year..i want the full tour 2 all those amazing haunted castles, harrods (yeah baby, shopping), cross over 2 paris & ireland or whr ever, plus "ben & jerry's icecream" !!! btw, u should try "sara lee's rocky road overload icecream", it's soo delicious wit marshmellows, choc coated peanuts & raspberry swirls, yumyumyum :) ~

wen i think back abt ystrday, i must hv been crazy 2 hv gone 2 so many places in a day..from home (kajang/nilai) 2 my 1st pitstop KLCC then mont kiara - dmnsara (friend's hse) - subang - hartamas - dmnsara (again) - finally home!!! all i did was talk & laugh, had coffee & food, & played pool (went everywhr & did everythng wit emi, except KLCC)..& wen it was over, i was dead tired :0 ..imagine a 15hr chilling out session!!! hahaha ;p

the 1st thng i rmmbr is my 1st surprise birthday party thrown by my bestest friend/petsis, Ms Ctea is her name,hehehe ;)

u cant imagine how i felt..well mayb it's nothng 4 sum ppl but it was memorable :) ~ babe,thnx a thrillion zillion, u made me so happy,luv u!

then my holidays..wow! will definitely blog it soon..
i guess i love 2 travel & i'll travel if i got the cash & time,hehe..
i'm juz the usual college student skipping class juz 2 relax, i guess my lecturers wont be too thrill if they found out..but lucky me!
well since dis is gonna be my last sem in college (i pray 2 God it'll be,cant wait 2 grad), i dont think i'll be going anywhere far 2 chill now...juz chilling around here,huhu ;p

dis is my last week of holiday, gonna get my results dis monday..i'm so scared & nervous..i know i didnt do well on 1 subject..afraid of failing but i'm all prepared 4 the worst.. :( at least i still got a sem 2 repeat it,hahaha! hopefully NO!

i think i need 2 get ready 2 meet kak eliz (330pm appointmnt), my new life insurance agent..complicated situation..my old agent stopped working..the big prob is dat i'm way behind my payment (a few months), argghhh! whr did i spend dat money??? ohhh yeah, shopping! hahaha ;p cant help it, wont deny it, guilty as charged! it's normal dat girls luv shopping, getting dat new clothes/shoes/handbag/etc..it's a necessity u know! :)

man, dis is great! why didnt i think of blogging?! hehehe ;p
