Double News..

#1) yesterday late afternoon i got a call from scicom bhd (KL branch)...yes!!! i got the part-time job!! i guess i did quite well on the written test, hehe..it's only a week but still...it's better than nothing, plus the pay is really good..trust me, with that amount i can buy a few of the things i want, hehehe.. ;)

funny thing, it has nothing to do with engineering..but who cares?? i know a lot of people who have a different education background from their current work field..most important, this part-time job will be an additional knowledge..gotta try then sit around too long [i'm already a bit bored doing nothing, hehe]

i'm excited & grateful & happy!! hehehe..more experience more money ;p ..something to do, can't wait for monday!! huhu :) ..alhamdulillah, murah rezekiku :)

btw, ctea also got the job [we went to the interview together..this job needs 15 people & it's at the cyberjaya branch office]..sooo, it's gonna be quite fun!! gonna carpool, hihi..we can't wait to finish the job, get paid & hit the malls for retail therapy..ahhh, a bliss ;)

#2) a little while ago (415pm), the guy who interviewed me yesterday called [who's also the managing director of the company]..he said i was shortlisted for the 2nd interview, hahaha!! very happy lalalala..me nervous too!!

all i know about the 2nd interview is that i'll be introduced to a personal trainer, go thru whatever on-the-job thingy & get evaluated by that person..final decision would be based on my actions..

ayooo, very challenging..can't imagine what's waiting for me..it's not an engineering field..i'm exploring different fields [as i have earlier thought & decided]..hope i'll do the right thing, be alert & be extra determined, hihihi ;p

whatever the outcome is, i'm grateful that i got the chance..if i pass, then yahooo!!! ;p

as usual..i'm wishing for a lucky star to shine on me ;)

i got an interview today..the thing is, i'm sooo nervous!! which is unusual & scary tho..most of the time i'm excited, only a teeny tiny bit nervous..i hope all will go well today, another wishful thinking!! ;)

Langkawi [Part #1]

Date of vacation :: 17-20 Aug '08

**17 Aug (Sunday)**

arrived around 830pm, got a rental car at the airport [quite cheap for a new car & half tank of petrol]..the car still had that brand new smell :) ..then drove to the hotel; eagle bay hotel - in kuah town itself [it's cheap so nothing to be excited about - it only serves its purpose = a place to crash & get clean]..

had a late dinner somewhere near there, in the same area with the gigantic eagle monument..can't remember the name of the restaurant, very very slow service k!!! had to wait more than half an hour for our food, geram sangat!! even the satay which we ordered [konon alas perut] as appetizer, came when we were half way done with our main course [tomyam seafood, kailan ikan masin, steam fish]..the food was ok ok laa, maybe because i was extremely hungry - i finished everything k! that night i was the official DBKL, hahaha!! ;p

then went around kuah town for a while, juz drove around in the car then back to hotel..ZzzZzzZ

**18 Aug (Monday)**

Where's The Cooking Mood???

i thought this fasting month would be a nice time for me to start cooking again..it's been a very very long time since i last cooked a full meal :( ..but i don't have the mood laa kan [niat je ada, ke aku memang malas gila ni?!?]..it's either eat out or eat whatever that can straight away pop in my mouth, hehehe!! yelaah, not fun to cook & eat alone u know..cma is not here, she's staying at Wani's house coz she doesn't have a car & she thinks it's a hassle if wanna take turns using my car..hmmm, better find that cooking aura/vibe now!!! this is a good month to be rajin, hihihi..well, a simple meal for sahur would do juz nice for a starter ;p

Finally!! They're Back :)

yes yes yes!!! gossip girl season 2 is finally out! i've already watched it last night [1st episode]..it's sooo thrilling & exciting, hahaha!!! ;p

can't wait for the next episode..favourite drama u know (watched the whole season 1 twice!! very crazy indeed)..oohhh, i wanna know what's gonna happen next, it's making me anxious..puhhleeezz hurry hurry show it a.s.a.p.!! TQ!

yeah right! as if the tv station is gonna read this & get it done juz for me!! damn! i sound so desperate, like a whining teenager, hahaha ;p

The 1st Day of Buka Puasa..

::1st Sept::

i was running late, had planned to buka puasa [break/open fast] with ctea at cyberjaya..we couldn't decide a place to eat..at first we thought of hassan cafe..but then all of a sudden we turned left to secret recipe, hehehe!!! it wasn't pack with people coz we arrived after buka puasa time, around 745pm..besides, we had already ate something light..

so, this was our main course..i had the bbq chicken with rice [not recommended - it was a tad sweet for me, juz a little taste of bbq, more like sweet & sour sauce to me], ctea had the black pepper chicken with rice [very nice, the sauce had enough black peppers to make u sweat!!]..side order was the shrimp popiah..

even tho it was way after berbuka time, we still got free sirap drinks & ice cream [alaaa, not the expensive ice cream, it was in a small cup thingy, like the ones sold in 7-11 or kedai runcit]..no complains about the ice cream k, juz trying to describe it [coz i don't usually take pictures of food], was thankful for it [alhamdulillah ;) ..ada gak orang nak bagi free kan, so kena laa bersyukur]..

we continued chilling there, giving our stomachs some leisure time to calm down ;p ..besides the usual chitchatting about almost everything, we also polished up our mandarin language, hahaha!!!

armed with a pen & paper, we both tried to write the numbers in chinese character - based on memory -..it was like a test/pop quiz at secret recipe ;) ..last last, both did 50% well, not good memory, i guess! double checked it with ctea's old assignments & expanded our learning session, huhuhu ;p

later we went to MMu coz ctea needed to print her assignments & pass it to her classmate..then suddenly i got this craving for Burger King's Hershey sundae pie laa kan ;p ..also bought the single mushroom swiss set [changed the fries to onion rings], for my sahur..best part was free choc sundae!! wow, memang rezekiku ;)

kesian cik ctea, she was quite tired, plus her class was at 8am the next day!!! sweet of her to tag along..anyway, it wasn't like we were gonna sit & eat there, juz drive-thru at hartamas outlet ;) & straight home..no pit-stop for lepaking!

The 1st Day of Sahur & Mr. Kangaroo ;)

::31st August/1st Sept::

hmmm, my 1st day sahur was with emi..we met before midnight [i parked my car at her house, rode in her car], went to hartamas square..waah, soo many people!! didn't know there was a football match..but after the game the place wasn't that pack anymore..we had the 'sotong kangkung' & 'lala goreng'..very the yum yummy yum ;p ..i didn't eat my usual kuehteuw goreng [ayoo, regret laa kan! next time]..was there for quite a long time, had loads of catching-up to do & gossip, hihihi ;)

we left when our butts got tired & 'round-merry-go-round', thinking of another place to hangout..sooo, last last we ended up at A&W!!! waaah, craving for desserts laa kan..ordered the waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream & the chocolate eclair ice cream!!! very the tamak k..didn't finish the waffle, a waste!! we tried but our stomachs couldn't expand anymore! :p

went off around 430am..i got a souvenir, all the way from australia from emi ;) ..a cute thingy, me like it very much :)

What Merdeka Celebration???

::30th Aug::

yup, what celebration??? i was home the whole day..didn't feel like going to KL & be stuck in a massive traffic jam..i had a few invites to celebrate merdeka tho..tiara & the gang headed to p.d. on saturday [staying 2 nights, i think]..jawer & friends wanted to jiggle their bumbums in KL..

while jan [whom i haven't seen for almost a year] is in bukit bintang, emi was at home in standby mode to chill if i decide to go to KL & berd wanted to chill after watching the race at sepang..ctea went back to senawang, i didn't feel like crashing her place coz i was glued to my game & lazy to drag my laptop along, hehehe, also coz i hadn't made up my mind about the invites ;)

hmm, i think that sounds sooo cheesy..as if it was a matter of life & death..or as if i was sooo in-demand, huhu..[cheh!! macam bagus je kan, konon2 ramai laa nak lepak dengan aku, hihihi]..whatever laa kan, puhleez throw up & leave if it's too disgusting, like i care!!! duhh..

sooo, to avoid a headache deciding where & with whom to chill with, i opted home sweet home ;) ..solitary time, a leisure, a meditation time, hahaha!! as if!! but the truth = i was juz sooo into my game ;p

The Fasting Month...

almost a week has gone by..sooo fast, i didn't even realized that i haven't blog anything..hahaha, i've already downgraded my "play game" time..besides that, i've been reading "what your mother couldn't tell you & your father didn't know" by john gray, plus the usual drama marathon..yeah, sounds like a lazy bumbums normal thingy ;p ..but i kinda enjoy it tho, well who doesn't right???..so now it's time to remember what had happened since 30th August..hmm, a lot laaa kan..ramadhan has really made my sleeping pattern go bonkers [again!!! back to the abnormal life, hahaha]..but today, i'm in the mood to job-hunt & prepare whatever needed..i'm still trying to jot whatever i can possibly remember ;p

well, selamat berpuasa/happy fasting & enjoy the month :)
