Langkawi [Part #1]

Date of vacation :: 17-20 Aug '08

**17 Aug (Sunday)**

arrived around 830pm, got a rental car at the airport [quite cheap for a new car & half tank of petrol]..the car still had that brand new smell :) ..then drove to the hotel; eagle bay hotel - in kuah town itself [it's cheap so nothing to be excited about - it only serves its purpose = a place to crash & get clean]..

*our rental car - me driving*

had a late dinner somewhere near there, in the same area with the gigantic eagle monument..can't remember the name of the restaurant, very very slow service k!!! had to wait more than half an hour for our food, geram sangat!! even the satay which we ordered [konon alas perut] as appetizer, came when we were half way done with our main course [tomyam seafood, kailan ikan masin, steam fish]..the food was ok ok laa, maybe because i was extremely hungry - i finished everything k! that night i was the official DBKL, hahaha!! ;p

then went around kuah town for a while, juz drove around in the car then back to hotel..ZzzZzzZ

**18 Aug (Monday)**

--after breakfast, the 1st place we went--

*sleepy face - couldn't give a better/excited expression!!!*

*amazed by this gigantic vase - the silvery designs are made of pearl*

*i juz can't figure out the motif of this carving*

*an alternative transport - saves money on petrol*

*i juz love the design*

*me & cma with the king & queen of japan, hahaha*

*i want this antic phone - looks kinda cool & unique*

*ahh, cute violin figurine*

*very detailed carving - looks scary but also mesmerizing!*

*reflections among the vase & teapot set*

*this kid is giving a crazy face - peace!!!*

*they left me behind!*

*i want this! of course the remote control type - not juz a deco*

*retarded after a long walk & looking at all those stuffs*
(like my t-shirt says; I MAY NOT BE PERFECT...)
**but was happy & satisfied - Tun Dr. Mahathir is someone i respect & admire**
